John Poltrone Obituary
John was born in Lorain, OH on June 22, 1959 and he graduated from Admiral King High School, Class of 1977. He was a crane operator at U.S.S. Kobe where he worked until his retirement. John was a life member of St. Peter Parish in Lorain, the United Steel Workers of America 1104, Knights of Columbus #774, AMVETS Post 47, Fraternal Order of Eagles in Amherst, the United Polish Club in Elyria, and the American Legion Post 30.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling, and socializing with friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Paula, Pamela (Jack), and Mark (Laura).
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary (nee Birrittieri) Poltrone.
The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral services at 11:00 AM, Fr. Craig M. Hovanec, Pastor, officiating. Christian burial services will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, OH. Online condolences may be sent using www.rsgfuneralhome.com.
