John Posthuma Obituary
John grew up in Tumwater, WA and graduated Tumwater High School in 1968. In 1972, John joined the United States Marine Corp. and served our Country in Vietnam and many other places faithfully until October of 1981. He transferred those service years to working at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyards until he retired in 2002
John is preceded in death by his Parents George and Pearl Posthuma and he is survived by his Sister, Cherie Painter, his Brother, Steve Posthuma, and his Sister, Jayne Bradley. John was described as a bright light, joyfully infectious, loving and kind by all who met him. He will be greatly missed by his family.
