John J. Pupek

John Joseph Pupek, of Bridgewater, passed away on March 9, 2026. He was 82. John was born in Boston and graduated from Boston Trade High School. He has lived in Bridgewater since 1972. John worked for Jordan Marsh department stores for many years before opening his own business, The Jordan Marsh Muffin Company, in Brockton. His famous blueberry muffin was enjoyed and celebrated for many years. After proudly spending his entire career in the baking industry, he retired in 1991. John also served as a member and past president of the Massachusetts Retail Bakers.

John and his wife Barbara were blessed to have a marriage of 57 years. They enjoyed many summers on the Cape, worldwide traveling and time spent with family and treasured friends.

John was very proud of his children Christine (David) Onanian and John (Laura) Pupek. His grandchildren Emma Onanian, Casey Pupek, Nora Onanian, and Kayla Pupek were the joy in his life. John was the loving brother of Joseph, Alexander, Thomas and Mary Ann Pupek.
