John Thomas Quinn, affectionately known by all as "Mighty Q," age 61, of Berwyn, PA, passed away on October 24, 2024. Born in New York City, NY, he was the beloved son of the late Edward and Maureen Quinn (nee Culliney).
John was a proud Certified Public Accountant. His passion for his career was paralleled only by his intrigue in the stock market. He tirelessly sought opportunities, always keeping a keen eye on investments, embodying a relentless pursuit for knowledge and financial wisdom that would inspire many. His commitment to his profession was not just a job for him; it was a vocation that he cherished deeply.
John's interests extended beyond numbers and finance. He had an undying love for baseball, a sport he pursued with fervor during his college years as a pitcher at the University of Rhode Island. His competitive spirit flourished both on the field and at home, as he turned everyday moments into spirited contests—where racing against his children became a joyful challenge. Above all, he cherished spending time with Jackie and his children. It didn't matter if they were out to dinner, at a tournament, or driving to Dairy Queen, any time spent together was time well spent.
As a devout Catholic, he was always quick to mention that he was a Bergen Catholic High School Graduate and was a true Crusader! John lived a life steeped in faith, often drawing strength and inspiration from his beliefs. His warmth and kindness resonated with everyone he met, casting a light upon the lives he touched. He was more than just a beloved father; he was a doting brother, an engaging uncle, and a steadfast friend whose presence brought comfort and joy to all.
John was the loving father of Kelly Rita Quinn (Phillip Santerian) and Megan Quinn-Varano (Chad) and caring brother of Michael Quinn (Cynthia) and Tara Cullen (Edward). John is also survived by his former wife and best friend, Jackie Quinn, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to John’s Visitation 9:00-10:25 AM on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA 19083, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
