John Patrick Raad, 64, of Mannington, passed away on July 25, 2025, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. He was born on October 27, 1960, a son of the late Simon and Elma Raad (Modi).
John is survived by his children: Corey Raad and wife Jessica of Lost Creek, and Carly Raad of Jane Lew; grandchildren: Hunter, Kinsley, and Jenson; sisters: Deborah Raad of Lexington, Kentucky, and Mary Fisher and her husband Charles of Mannington; and his loving fiancé, Regina Banick of Fairmont.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Joseph Raad.
John liked to spend time outside fishing, hunting, and playing golf and he loved to play the guitar, of which he had many. He also loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren. John was employed by Amsted Graphite Materials, located in Anmoore, as a millwright welder.
Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home, 500 East Main Street, Mannington, on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating. Interment will follow at the Mannington Cemetery.
