John Racine, of Antigo, died on November 21, 2025 at his home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice and his family. He was 74 years old. He was born on May 25, 1951 in Chicago, IL, a son of Paul and Rose (Duffek) Racine. He married Julie Resch on May 24, 1975 in Mattoon.
John was a graduate of Antigo High School. He served in the United States Army. John was employed for 47 years at Waukesha Bearings in Antigo.
He enjoyed his time playing Old Timers Softball League, was a baseball umpire for 12 years, and coached little league baseball. John loved spending time with his family and taking walks on the boardwalk.
In addition to his wife 50 years, survivors include three daughters, Danielle (Scott) Meyer of Antigo, Michelle Long of Antigo and Ann (Joey) Racine of DeForest; son, Dustin (Emma) Racine of Antigo; twelve grandchildren, Chelsea, Samantha, Alexis, Zach, Nate, Clay, Jade, Onnica, Kendice, Jordis, Claire, and Elliott; four great grandchildren and one more on the way; three sisters, Nancy (Ron) Racine of Georgia, Kathy Racine of West Allis, and Janet Racine of Arizona; and three brothers, Bill (Cheryl) Racine of Antigo, Joe (Cheryl) Racine of South Milwaukee, and Andy (Pam) Racine of Green Bay;.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Michael Long.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
