Ad, Ruth& Dick, Thank you for sharing your honoring memories of John. What awonderful family service ! I am so thankful that he was at peace with his Lord & Savior.
Please know that you are in my thoughts & prayers. I remember your mother's service & the lovely cemetary. Although I won't be there, physically, with you on the 22nd, I will be there in spirit. May God bring you comfort as you celebrate & remember John's life.

I watched the Pitkin memorial service for John, and it was very touching to see the family gather together to celebrate his life. When it comes down to it, we all hae not changed so much from the years we knew one another: yes, beliefs and ideologies perhaps, but not the core people we remember. I remember all of you and I remember John. And I will be thinking of you when you get together to celebrate once again.
