RIP, Red Dog. Thank you for making me part of your family and always making me welcome in your home. You had a good sense of humor and we always ended up laughing. You are missed already. Frenchie.

I would often see John at the St. Mary cemetery. As I was planting flowers at my wife´s family gravesite, he would stop and we would chat about the history of Lake Forest. He was a wonderful man and very proud of his heritage.
