Rensch, John D. age 47, formerly of Fenton MI. Died suddenly June 22, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident near his home in Carrsville, VA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist 600 N Adelaide St. Fenton MI. Interment will follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to Autism Speaks 1 East 33rd St. 4th Floor New York, NY. 10016. Visitation will be on Friday at Sharp Funeral Home 1000 Silver Lake Rd. in Fenton from 2-4PM and 6-8PM with a Vigil service at 7PM. John was born July 8, 1964 to Walter and Jane Rensch in Flint MI. John is survived by his wife Sally, his children: Jillian, Elizabeth, and Carson of Carrsville VA., his parents, Walter and Jane Rensch of Fenton; his siblings: Barbara (Mike) Ellis of Columbus GA, Suzanne (John) Boomer of Farmington, Robert (Janice) Rensch of Kalamazoo, William Rensch of Fenton, Carol Borck of Bloomfield Hills, Mary Kay (Jeff) Ewing of Birmingham; his In-Laws: Leon and Patricia Matzelt of Dearborn Heights; and many nieces and nephews. John most recently was employed at Huntington-Ingalls ship yards as a test engineer after retiring from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty Officer celebrating 22 years of service.
