John W. Risoldi

John Winslow Risoldi, 70, passed away Monday, May 6, 2024, at Beverly Hospital. Born August 13,1953 in Beverly, he was the son of the late Thomas Anthony "Tony" and Leona May (Hilbourn) Risoldi.
John graduated from Beverly High School, class of 1972. He was a dedicated employee at many north shore businesses. He was part of the kitchen staff at the Commodore Restaurant, Gordon College, Danversport Yacht Club, and Stephy's Kitchen.
John was a beacon of light in his community, known for his infectious smile and warm friendly demeanor. He soared to incredible heights earning 2 Gold medals at the International Special Olympics in his youth. He is survived by two brothers Thomas Risoldi of Beverly, Frederick Risoldi of Newburyport; two sisters, Nancy Page and her husband James of Georgetown, and Suzanne Taggart and her husband Joseph of Tampa Florida; his nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters-in-law Sheila Donovan and Diane Gage.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Church, 111 New Balch Street, Beverly on Thursday, May 23rd at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly on Wednesday, May 22nd from 4pm to 7pm. The burial will be at Beverly Farms Cemetery.
