John Roberts Obituary
John was born May 20, 1963, in Franklin, Indiana, the son of Keith K. and Jane A. Stanton Roberts. John will be deeply missed by his cherished wife, Cari Jo Russell Roberts, whom he married on September 18, 2005. His light will continue to shine through their enduring love.
He is survived by his dear children, Nick Roberts of Greenwood, Molly (Zac) Alviar of Columbus, and Cass Roberts of Columbus. His joy was multiplied by his grandchildren, Carter May and Collins Jo Alviar, whom he adored and cherished. John was a guiding force in their lives, and their memories with him will be held close to their hearts forever.
He also leaves behind his caring mother, Jane A. Roberts of Columbus; his siblings, Kim Boerema, Mark (Jeannine) Roberts, Todd (Libby) Roberts, and Keith (Wendy) Roberts, all of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his father.
John was a pillar in the business community as the founder and owner of C.A.S.E. Construction. His work ethic and integrity were cornerstones of his success, and his legacy within the industry is a testament to his passion for craftsmanship and service.
His memory will be honored as a life of purpose, love, and unwavering commitment to those he touched in life's journey.
The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral on Washington Street with Pastor Adam Rodriguez officiating.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. to time of service.
He will be laid to rest next to his late father at the Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Columbus Regional Hospital Foundation.
