On March 23, 1967, John L. Rogers was born to Robert Love Sr., and Martha Rogers-Reed in Greenwood, Mississippi.
He received his education in Greenwood, MS from, St. Francis Catholic School, Bankston Elementary, Greenwood High, all of Greenwood, Mississippi, and Austin High School in Chicago, IL.
John confessed Christ at an early age and learned to play the piano through the guidance of his grandmother Connie Love (who preceeded him in death). John had many adventures in his life. He lived in California, Chicago, Il and later moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he died. John worked many jobs such as Ohare Airport in baggage, Apollo Bindery, he was a handy man, and occasionally yard work. John's last hours was at a comedy show which is perfect because he loved to laugh as well as tell jokes to make others laugh. John was loved by many and never met a stranger. All that knew him loved him.
John leaves to mourn his mother, Martha Rogers-Reed, his father, Robert Love Sr., his sister, Carolyn Parnell (Anthony his brother-in-law), step sister, Francine Scott (brother-in-law Terry), step brother Robert Love Jr., nieces Tegan Harrison(Terrance) TeKesha Jackson(Jay), nephews Devonte Rogers, and Tevarius Robinson, and a host of grand nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, relatives and friends.
