BOWLING GREEN -- John Thomas Roller passed away surrounded by family and friends on April 9, 2024, at the age of 65 in Bowling Green, Ohio. John was born on March 27, 1959 in Toledo, Ohio to Margaret and Michael Roller.
He married Holli Kuhlman on December 3, 1982.
After graduating Eastwood High School in 1977, John went on to work as an agricultural mechanic for several years before transitioning to heavy construction equipment. He then became the dedicated owner and operator of Rollers Equipment Repair for many years before retiring in June of 2023.
John was a lifetime member of The Northwest Ohio Tractor Pullers Association and a member of the Eagles and High Hill Sportsman Club. He was also a former volunteer firefighter in Middleton Township.
John was a hard working individual who cherished the time he spent with his family and friends. This included coaching his son's baseball team for several years. He also enjoyed relaxing at his getaway on the river and hunting.
John is survived by his wife, Holli Roller; son, Tommy Roller; daughter-in-law, Aubrey Roller (Peters); mother, Margaret Roller; brothers Mike and Scott Roller; sister-in-law, Michelle Roller; sister-in-law Pat Knauss (Johnny Young); brother-in-law John Kuhlman; father-in-law Tom Kuhlman; grandson, Henry Roller, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Roller; mother-in-law Rose Kuhlman; and brother-in-law John Knauss.
John's Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 10 am to 1 pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green, OH 43402, where friends and family will gather to pay their respects and honor his memory.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bridge Hospice.
