John Roy Obituary
John Cameron Roy Jr. of Greeley, Co went to be with his heavenly father on October 23, 2025. John is survived by his loving, devoted wife Chrissi Abbath-Roy, his mother Susan Mora (Trivy), father John Roy Sr. (Kathy), siblings, and his beloved parrot flock of feather babies.
John was a masterful mechanic for over 30 years. He could take anything apart and put it back together like new. John was very creative and a great builder. He always had a project or two in progress at home. He recently put an addition on his home for his eclectus parrots. John was "The Birdman", he had such a special connection with his parrots. Many neighbors looked forward to seeing him take his macaws on a walk around the neighborhood. Whether it was a baby parrot he was hand weaning or an abused or unwanted parrot, John was ready to provide them a loving home. He was like a bird whisperer, gaining their trust and love. He had such a beautiful bond with them all and loved them dearly. A private visitation was held for family. John will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
