I´m sorry for Johns passing at such an early age. I am 94 years old and knew a John Scarpelli who was a plumber in the Bronx. He would be a few years over 100 now as he was best friends with my brother. I remember him as a great baseball player as I was bat boy on their team. I´m sure he must be related so I had to post this memory. May he rest in eternal peace.
