John A. Schneider, 43 of Manchester, Connecticut, passed peacefully on May 23rd, 2025, with his family by his side.

John was born into a one-of-a-kind, warm, tight-knit family on December 10th, 1981, in Rochester, NY. He was the son of John and Linda Schneider. Love, laughter, and loyalty are a way of life for the Schneider family and have guided the principles of how John lived his life.

John demonstrated remarkable ambition and drive. At the age of 17, He launched his first business, Custom Computers, all while still attending Midlakes High School. This venture laid the foundation for a prestigious career in Business Systems Technology. He graduated with honors with his Bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology. As John’s career developed, his recruitment to United Technologies led to his relocation to Connecticut. Over the years, he earned recognition for his innovation, leadership, and unwavering work ethic as he worked with Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky, and Carrier.

Just as John poured countless hours into his dedication to his business as an Independent Consultant, he also took on projects big and small as a self-taught home renovator, working diligently on remodeling his home. He approached all work tasks in his life with thoughtfulness and determination. His work ethic was unmatched - steadfast and driven by genuine love for learning.

While living in Connecticut, he met his life partner, Jessica Giordano. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.

John was known for his exceptional kindness. He had a gentle and steady presence that left a lasting impression on everyone he interacted with. His warmth and generosity created countless cherished memories with his family and friends. He leaves behind his partner, Jessica Giordano, his parents, John and Linda, his siblings, Heather Nichols (Jeff), Tom Bauer, Michael, Richard, and Andrew (Lindsey) Schneider, and his adored nieces and nephews, cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the medical providers who supported John throughout his journey. The Neuro Oncology team, including the many dedicated nurses, technicians, and volunteers at UConn Hospital, Hartford Hospital Radiation Department, the Dent Institute, and Yale Hospital.

His legacy of love will never be forgotten. One of his favorite quotes, proudly displayed in his dining room as a framed, handcrafted gift from his sister, captured his outlook on life. It was a line from the Dave Matthews Band that he held dear:

“Celebrate we will, ‘cause life is short but sweet for certain.”

John was a world traveler. His journeys deeply influenced his love of life, his strong family values, and his optimistic outlook on the world. With that in mind, anyone wishing to make a contribution in John’s memory may do so to: The Ugandan Water Project
