John P. Schultz, 68, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. John was born on January 25, 1956, to Paul and Arlene (Sistek) Schultz in Chicago, IL. He grew up in many locations around the U.S., most notably California and Wahpeton, ND, where he graduated from high school. Following high school, John continued his education at NDSCS and later NDSU where he received his BS in Pharmacy. On August 17, 1985, John married Janet Handberg. Together they made their home in Fargo, ND. Over the years, John enjoyed his time as a pharmacist at Sanford Pharmacy and had recently retired after 43 years with Sanford. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors, fly fishing and motorcycling. He was very handy and took pride in fixing anything around the house that he could extend the life of. John was a kind man who was a helper to many, lending a hand when needed. John most of all loved spending time with Janet, traveling and doing anything as long as they were together. He will be dearly missed.
