John Schwabauer Obituary
July 8, 1954 - February 6, 2025
John Allan Schwabauer, 70, of Pittsboro, North Carolina passed away on February 6, 2025. He was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and was the beloved son of Eugene and Irene Schwabauer.
John is survived by his mother Violet Irene of Scottsbluff, NE, wife Kathy, sons Benjamin of Raleigh, NC and Joseph (Elisha) of Asheville, NC, brothers Larry (Nerita) of Melissa, TX and Jerry (Beth) of Hutchinson, KS.
John cared deeply about those he loved and his community of friends. He spent his career in leadership roles and focused on training management. He was an avid beekeeper, carpenter, gardener, dog owner, hiker, and made friends everywhere he went. Scottsbluff High School graduate of the Class of 1972.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. In lieu of any flowers, memorials in John's honor may be made in care of tree planting donations.
