John Seyberth Obituary

**In Loving Memory of John Alvin Seyberth**
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Alvin Seyberth, aged 55, from Dayton, Kentucky, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Born on April 10, 1969, in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, John was the cherished son of Paul A. and Betty J. Seyberth (née Blum). Following the loss of his father during his childhood, John was lovingly raised by his uncle, Vernon, in a home filled with love and support.
John had a spirit that drew others to him-a gentle soul with a passion for life. He found joy in nature, whether it was fishing on serene mornings or nurturing his garden into a vibrant canvas of colors. Professionally, John dedicated years of his life to serving his community as a firefighter and EMT, where his bravery and compassion shone brightly.
To John, family meant everything. He cared deeply for Tommy, as a caretaker for 30 years, was like a brother, and his closest friend. John was known for his thoughtfulness and caring nature-qualities that left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
John is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Paul A. Seyberth and Betty J. Seyberth. He is survived by his loving sister, Laura (Frank) Hammonds; his dear brother, Tommy Hammonds; and his "son," Brandon Hammonds. He also leaves behind a treasured niece, Cassie (Shawn) Draper, along with 19 other nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends whose lives he touched profoundly.
A visitation in honor of John will take place on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm. The family will be hosting a gathering with food and refreshments at 2:00 pm at the Gardens of Park Hills, 1622 Dixie Hwy, Covington, KY - please call the funeral home if you have any questions regarding the gathering after the service.
In this time of sorrow, we invite everyone to share their memories of John and leave heartfelt messages for his family in the guest book below. John Alvin Seyberth may have departed from our sight, but he will forever remain in our hearts.
