64, lifelong resident of the South Side of Chicago, Canaryville neighborhood, passed away on September 28, 2022. Beloved husband of DeDe Shannon (nee Pitman); loving father of Jenny (Tim) Fehil, Joe (Tina) Shannon, late Michael Shannon, and John (Lisa) Shannon; cherished grandfather of Jake (Felicia), Shannon, Tee (Kaitlyn), Matthew, Caryn, Julianne, Michael, Christopher, Abby, and Emily, and great-grandfather of Charolette, Jayden, and Madilynn; dearest brother of the late Marty (Kathy) Shannon, late Timmy Shannon, Mikey (Peggy) Shannon, and Danny (Nicole) Shannon; also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and the CVRA family.
Services at McInerney Central Chapel, 4635 S. Wallace St., Chicago, Illinois where family and friends will gather on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 3 PM to 8 PM. Funeral is on October 6, 2022 at 10 a.m. at McInerney Funeral home. Burial St. Mary Cemetery. For those attending services please note wearing of masks are encouraged but not mandatory.
