John Sheets Obituary
John was predeceased by his parents, William and Janet.
John is survived by his partner of 20 years, Marie Bailey, and her daughter Danielle. He is also survived by his cousin Val Colby. Additionally, John leaves behind his aunt Sylvia Miles, brother Brian Sheets, and numerous cousins including Jennifer Colucci and Kristen Miles-Pavia.
John was an avid sports enthusiast regularly commenting on the Mets and the Bills. To him, Charlotte, NY was the best place in the world. He enjoyed the LDR Charpit, Abbotts, Schallers, and Windjammers. He loved recounting his old days when he drove fast cars and worked as a bouncer.
John could strike up a conversation with anyone and always had a good story to tell. He was friendly and easygoing and contrary to his own belief that he was a tough guy, John was a gentle soul with a big heart.
There will be no prior calling, but think of John the next time you're in Charlotte.
