John S. Smith, 93, of Ambler, passed away on November 10, 2025. Born in Saint Joe, Indiana, he was the son of the late John A. and Betty (Hadrick) Smith. John was the beloved husband of the late Carolyn Mae (Stanton) Smith. He was formerly from Flourtown, Pa, where he worked for the Springfield School District and was a volunteer firefighter for Flourtown. After retiring, he moved to Red Hill, Pa.
He is survived by his sister: Joanne Dearman; his niece: Nancy Pegram; and lifelong friends: Robin Gray Twaddle and Dawn Rogers's families. He is preceded by his son Michael who passed away in 2018.
