John Timothy "Tim" Snodgrass, 84, of Martinsville, Indiana, passed away peacefully in his home on December 26, 2025. Tim was born on January 9, 1941, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Harold and Evangline (Lukenbill) Snodgrass.
He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Nila Shumaker, Larry Snodgrass, and Ronnie Snodgrass. In his younger years he was an all-around sports star and a proud Air Force Veteran. He worked many years in all aspects of the automotive industry retiring from Ford/Visteon.
He was an avid golfer, boater and loved fishing and visiting casinos. He cherished time spent with family and friends and will be remembered for the joy he found in these simple pleasures. He is survived by his life partner, Jeanette Claffey; his brother, James Snodgrass (Gail), Gosport, IN; his children, Steve Snodgrass, Indianapolis, IN; Tricia Burdette (Wayne), Pensacola, FL and Kathy Butler (Mark), Clayton, IN; his stepchildren, Dennis Claffey (Laura), Brownsburg, IN and Michele Steele (Joe), Greenwood, IN.
He is also survived by four grandchildren, Matt Jones (Leanne), Jimmy King (Heather), Brittney Swisher (Andy), and Cody King; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tim's memory to the American Pancreatic Association. Private services were held at home.
