So very sorry for your loss.

Remembering the wonderful time at the North Carolina Outer Banks with John and Nancy and the Stanaway family. John was a wonderful example of how to live life with love of family, compassion and respect of others. Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family.

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of cousin, Junior. I hope your memories of his life will help to comfort you in the days ahead. He will rest in God's loving arms. My sincerest condolences.

One of my early memories of John was the day our family moved from Newport News, VA to York County, VA. I returned home from school that day and the house was empty and not a soul around. I didn't know how to get to the new house so I sat on the stoop and cried. 8th(I was a little kid). Not long after John showed up and said mama had asked him to go by and pick up the cats. "I may as well take you". That was his sense of humor. I will miss him terribly.
