John Steinkopf was born in Orange County, California, and later moved to Texas, where he would meet the love of his life Sherry and start a family. He lived in the Baytown/Highlands area for 30+ years, having a long career in roofing and later changing into his professional career as an industrial inspector where he was respected and loved by so many.
John passed on 8/11/2024 in his home surrounded by his family and loved ones. He is proceeded in death by his father William Steinkopf and mother Helen Humphrey, Wife Sherry Steinfopf. He is survived by his daughter Amanda Dillard, daughter Jennifer Ferguson, her husband Michael Ferguson, son Craig Steinkopf his wife Sarah Steinkopf, his grandchildren Taylor and husband Nicholas, Kalylie and fiance Mikey, Hannah, Skylynn, Maddison, Makala, Michael II, Kalea, Chelsea, Bailey, Kirby great grandchildren Kalli, Avery, Zoey, Camden Sister Jenni Steinkopf and many nieces and nephews
