John R. Stermon

John R. Stermon, age 74, of Wexford and Gibsonia, died suddenly on November 27, 2025. Born in McKeesport, PA on August 18, 1951, son of the late Rubin Blane Stermon and Vernadean L. Lattimore. Beloved husband for 50 years of Louise V. "Honey" Bosetti Stermon. Loving father of Shannon Tompkins (Nick) and RJ Stermon. Brother of Chuckie Stermon (Trish) and the late Mike Stermon. Proud grandfather of Paxton and Penelope Tompkins.

John recently celebrated 50 years of marriage to his high school sweetheart, Honey. Family and friends were his first priority, in both good times and difficult, and his kindness was abundant. John organized Harley Davidson trips with friends and enjoyed sharing his culinary talents, especially his limoncello recipe. He loved all sports, especially following the Steelers. John most of all loved being with family, especially when he was watching his beloved grandkids, Penelope & Paxton.

Friends received Wednesday 10-1 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, where services will follow visitation at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.
