Obituary published on Legacy.com by Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., Ltd. - Bakerstown on Nov. 22, 2025.
Beverly Jane Bader, age 76, of West Deer, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at her home with her loving husband by her side. She was born July 8, 1949 in Pittsburgh, daughter of the late Edward B. and Eileen E. (Schimmel) Myros. She graduated from Etna High School, class of 1967, where she played flute in the band. She went on to attend Robert Morris School of Business in downtown Pittsburgh. During her career, she worked for many doctors offices, The West Penn Burn Center, Women's Health & Gynecology, and AHN Ophthalmology. Bev enjoyed spending time with family and friends and celebrating the holidays, especially Christmas. One Thanksgiving, Bev forgot to remove the giblets from the turkey and needless to say the family dinner was delayed several hours waiting for the turkey to be edible, while the side dishes had been ready for hours. She loved decorating her home for Christmas and had many decorations in every room of the house with Christmas music playing. Anytime you would walk into the house, Bev would be watching the Hallmark Christmas movies, which started these days in October. Bev was always watching the "Soap Opera" The Young & Restless and The Bold & Beautiful everyday from 12:30-2:00 p.m. and gosh if you would call during that time frame you might not have had her full attention. Beverly was a seasoned shopper and would never pass up an opportunity for a shopping trip with her granddaughters and of course lunch was always a must so you could shop until you dropped or could not carry anymore bags. Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Obbie, daughter Tammi (Matthew) Atkins, granddaughters Abby & Daisy Atkins, her beloved dog Mandy, her siblings, Sandy (Kerry) Straw, Nancy (Rich) Stoffa, Kim (Matt) Andrejco, Lori (Jon) Robertson and Mark Myros.
Friends received Tuesday 2-7 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, where services will follow visitation at 7 p.m.. Rev. Richard Neumann officiating. Please offer condolences at www.schellhaasfh.com.
