John Everett Stickler, 83, of Palm Bay, FL, departed this world and entered eternal life on October 23, 2023.
John was born in Huntington, WV to Marie Stickler (Holbrook) on September 16, 1940. He was an avid movie buff, loved beach-combing, and was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. John leaves behind his wife, Vickie of Palm Bay, FL; children, John Stickler Jr., Terra (Bart) Jones, and Brandon Stickler; siblings, Betty (Dennis) Arthur, Minerva (Bob) Keener, Jack Stickler, Sylvia (Jon) Carr, and Tina (Jeff) Ellis. He was the proud papaw of seven grandchildren: Samuel, John, Trevon, River, Valyn, Fynn, Alaia. He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie Holbrook, and father, Calvin Holbrook.
John's loved ones will most remember him for his loving, soft-spoken nature, witty humor, and gentle soul.
A Celebration of John's Life will be held on November 15, 2023 at 11am at the Brevard Veterans Memorial Center in Merritt Island, FL. Honors Ceremony and gathering of family and friends to follow.
