John Summaria Obituary
John was born December 5, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Joseph and Rose Summaria. He proudly served in World War II in the United States Army, earning 2 bronze stars alond with a Purple Heart. He worked as a tax accountant. His life was focused on faith and family. He was hardworking, kind and a true gentleman who will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his siblings, Marie Prester and Eugene Prester and by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother Enrico, Louis and sister, Virginia.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 9-10am with Mass at 10am all at St. Mary Catholic Church-10307 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
