John Crawford Summerall

John Crawford Summerall, 76, of Okatie, SC passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at his home.
John was born October 18, 1948 in Beaufort, SC, to the late Odis C. Summerall and Lottie Carolyn Jones Summerall. He resided in Okatie all of his life, creating a beautiful home with his late wife, Sharon Williams Summerall, whom he adored. They enjoyed cooking together and gardening on their property, along with traveling together.
An arborist, John was the proud owner of Landscapes Inc. He enjoyed working at the office and out on job sites. He could tell you the name of any plant, even down to the Latin name. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed tending his greenhouse.
John loved good food and relaxing at home on Sundays with his dog, Jackson. Nothing was more important to him than his family. He enjoyed spending time with his sons, Will and Wesley.
John is survived by his sons, Will (Haley) Summerall of Columbia, SC and Wesley Summerall of Charleston, SC; brothers, David Summerall, and Tim Summerall; sisters, Susan Summerall, Kathy Murphy, and Barbara Farley; and many nieces and nephews, including, Suzette Mujica and Amy Applegate.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Sauls Funeral Home, 90 Simmonsville Rd., Bluffton. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am until the time of the service.
