John was a wonderful person. He welcomed everyone who came into the store and always had a gentle way about him. He will be missed.

John set an example that was passed down not only to his son but to everyone at Dallas on how to treat a customer always with the smile and a thank you. He was probably the kindest business person in all of uptown Kingston always asked about your family and every conversation was with a smile. Rest in peace and thank you for the Tootsie roll.

To the Tampasis Family: We were so sorry to learn of John's passing. He and his wife were always together and from time to time we would see them in the Saugerties Dallas Texas Hot Weiner shop. Our deepest sympathy to his family at this very sad time. May he rest in peace as he worked very hard his whole life. He will be surely missed by those who knew and loved him. Sincerely, Elaine & Dennis Ferraro
