John was born on October 26, 1938 and passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017. John was a resident of Swainsboro, Georgia at the time of passing. AFTER GRADUATION HE JOINED THE US COAST GUARD WHERE HE SERVED ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES AND THE WORLD, FOR OVER 20 YEARS. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD FRIDAY MORNING AT 11:00 A.M. FROM THE CHAPEL OF TOMLINSON FUNERAL HOME WITH REVEREND LOUIS PEARCE OFFICIATING. INTERMENT WITH MILITARY HONORS WILL FOLLOW AT NAILS CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH CEMETERY NEAR BARTOW,GA. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, MEMORIALS MAY BE MADE TO THE WOUNDED WARRIOR FOUNDATION IN MEMORY OF JOHN.
