John C. "Johnnie" Tepsic, 66 of Monaca, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024.
Born in Rochester, Pennsylvania, Johnnie was the beloved son of the late Charles E. and Bernadine McDermott Tepsic and was predeceased by his sister Debbie. He leaves behind his devoted sister, Donna J. Kapanyko, her husband Robert, his nephews Michael (Jessica Ricciardi) and John (Chrystal) Kapanyko, and his lifelong family friend, Marge Reese.
A graduate of New Horizon School, Johnnie later attended the HAP adult training program. A die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins, he found great pleasure in cheering on his teams. His fondness for the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe was well-known among his friends and family as well as his love of dogs. Johnnie navigated life's ups and downs with grace and positivity and found happiness in the small things-a sports game, a meal, the company of dogs.
Friends and family are welcome to attend his visitation on Wednesday, July 17th from 11 AM – 1 PM with a blessing service to follow at 1 PM at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Monaca.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired in Johnnie memory to the Beaver County Humane Society, Center Township.
