John Thebodo Obituary
John W. Thebodo, 60, husband of Donna Lisowski Thebodo, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus. John was known for his zingers, "Are you mossy?" and "No Soup!," who touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his great sense of humor. He was born on August 8, 1962 in North Adams, MA to John and Joan Thebodo.
John graduated from Central Catholic High School and worked as a Materials Handler for Pitney Bowes for 25 years. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Red Sox and being by the water along with spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife of 29 years, John is survived by his mother, Joan Thebodo of Norwalk, his sister Kelly Ouellette of Norwalk, his sister-in-law Heather Thebodo of Newtown, his brother-in-law Michael E. Lisowski of Jacksonville, FL, his mother-in-law Carole Lisowski of Milford, and his nephews William Ouellette, Casey (Becca) Ouellette, and Michael Lisowski and his nieces Alicia Lisowski, Heather Lisowski, and Loren Thebodo. John was preceded in death by his father John F. Thebodo and his brother Dan Thebodo (Heather).
Calling hours will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 4-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

Mrs. Thebodo,Kelly and family,I am sad to hear of John's passing.he was a great teamate,classmate and fierce competitor on the Broad River playground in our youth. May you all find peace and comfort in knowing that he is reunited with Danny,and his father who tragically passed fifty years ago, in Heaven.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on John's passing. Seems like just the other day when he was a bat boy 9 year old in little league. Spitfire second baseman and a real good kid. I know it's been a real tough few months for all of you.
