Mr. John Irvin Tidd, II, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024. Memorial services will be held in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
Mr. Tidd was born September 20, 1988, in Americus, GA to John “Johnny” Irvin Tidd and Rolynda Grimes White. He enjoyed being outdoors and working with his hands. John loved to hunt and fish and spend time with his family and friends. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph “Joe” Tidd and his grandmother, Lucy Smith Grimes.
Survivors include his wife, Rhiannon Tidd of Ellaville, GA; four children, Jaid White, Brayden Tidd, Bentley Tidd, and Isaiah Thompson; his mother and step-father, Rolynda and Shannon White of Kathleen, GA; three sisters, Randi Tidd of Ellaville, GA ,Trey White (Jalen) of Perry, GA, and Geni Dufresne (Danny) of Florida; his paternal grandmother, Louise Tidd of Ellaville; a special aunt, Jennifer Barnes; close friend, Brittany Underwood; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
