John M. Toscano

John Toscano passed away peacefully on Saturday December 21st, 2024 with his loving family by his side. He was 61 years old. John was born on June 15, 1963, in the Bronx, New York, and graduated from Herbert H. Lehman High School. He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Suzanne Toscano, daughter, Dominique, sons, John Jr. and Joseph, along with his mother, Lucille Wiesner, sisters, Deborah Leone of Yonkers, Jeanne Pena of Tamarac, Florida, and Heidi (John) Gould of Stony Point, as well as several nieces and nephews. John settled down in Thiells in Rockland County, and was the owner of "T&J Flooring, Inc." Through the years, he served the community with his expertise in flooring services. John was a devoted family man and spending time with his family was most important to him. Over the years, he enjoyed spending time at Break Point Entertainment (formerly Hi-Tor Lanes), supporting his children on the lanes, as well as entertaining other parents with his unique wit and unmatched humor. John was known for his infectious laugh, his smile, and sharing "memes" with his friends on Facebook. In his spare time, John could often be found scratching lottery tickets at the Railroad Deli, watching the Yankees, history channel, or playing online games such as Ruzzle, Bejeweled Blitz, and Zynga poker. John will be deeply missed by all that knew him and whose lives he touched. Viewing hours are Sunday December 29th, 2024 2PM-6PM at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville NY. Funeral services will be held Monday December 30th, 2024 at 11AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville, NY. Burial services will be held immediately after at St. Peter's Cemetery in Haverstraw, NY
