John Frank Turner, 87, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Bethany Woods Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle.

John was born December 31, 1937, in Albemarle, North Carolina to the late Walter Fred Turner and the late Mamie Elizabeth Turner.

He was also preceded in death by wife, Margaret Turner; daughter, Tanya Lynette Turner; and brothers, Benny, Lee, Paul, and Jimmy.

John valued hard work, and it was evident in the different fields in which he worked. John held positions at Moss Supply Company, Ren Lefler's Dairy Farm,  the Funeral Home, a Furniture Store and Auto Trix. His family hold many memories and stories close to them, as John was loving and cared deeply for his family and friends. He always had time to catch up with an old friend or even a new face, as John had never met a stranger. John is deeply loved and forever will be missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 12:45 pm, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow on Wednesday, 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle, officiated by Dale King. Burial will be at Fairview Memorial Park at 1425 East Main Street, Albemarle.

Survivors include sisters, Flossie Darnell (Rock Hill, SC) and Pat Kent (Rock Hill, SC); sister-in-law Kathy Turner (Albemarle), sister-in-law Sharon Mason (Mt. Gilead) and brother-in-law Gordon Mason (Mt. Gilead); and many nieces and nephews.
