John Turner Obituary
John W. Turner, age 84 of Fordyce passed away Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Dallas County Hospital in Fordyce, Arkansas. He was born March 20, 1941 in Rison, Arkansas. He was a retired maintenance worker for Georgia-Pacific and a member of Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse W. Turner and Bertha Clark Turner; one son, Steve “Tree” Turner; one grandson, Jesse Turner; two brothers, Buck Turner, James Roy Turner; and two sisters, Virginia Connell and Mary Frances Sims. John is survived by his wife of 62 years, Julia “Judy” Pinckard Turner of Fordyce; one daughter, Lynn Turner of Fordyce; one grandson, Dalton Turner of Camden; one great granddaughter, Nova Turner.
Visitation will be Sunday 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Kingsland Missionary Baptist Church with Rev.
