Phyllis A. Kordsmeier, age 82 of Hampton passed away Sunday, January 4, 2026 at South Arkansas Regional Hospital in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was born January 25, 1943 in Warren, Arkansas. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Hampton and was a retired director for the Cabun Rural Health Services. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert “Bob” Lovell and Martha Reap Lovell; husband, A.J. “John” Kordsmeier; one son, Michael Joseph Kordsmeier; one daughter, Julie Wilkes; and two grandsons, Joshua and Adam Lancaster. She is survived by one son-in-law, Blake Wilkes of Azle, TX; one daughter-in-law, Rhonda Kordsmeier of Hampton; one brother, Mike (Karen) Lovell of Hampton; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Camp Ground Cemetery in Hampton with Rev. Charles McBryde officiating. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net.
