John Wade Obituary
He was born in Coffeyville on September 7, 1965, to John E. and Helen Emily (Livingston) Wade. Steve was a 1984 graduate of Field Kindley High School and continued his education at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa. Steve spent his professional life in working alongside his father at Hurricane Sales in Coffeyville specializing in blinds and drapes. He served in the U.S. Army and was a proud veteran. He had a passion for golf and was a familiar face on local courses.
Steve was predeceased by his mother, Helen Wade, and his wife, Stacy Wade.
He is survived by his father, John Wade, and stepmother, Beverly Wade.
Visitation will be held at David W. Barnes Funeral Home, 306 North Cline Road, Coffeyville, Kansas, 67337, on Friday, December 26, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
A funeral service will take place at the First Baptist Church, 300 West 9th Street in Coffeyville on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Private family burial will take place in Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville.

I´ll miss your wit and our goofy banter over in the trades building where we did potery and things. You had a silly thing to cheer me up whenever I was downing sorry I won´t see you personally at the funeral, but we´ll always remember the fun antics enjoyed by all in your orbit.
