In Loving Memory of John Wagner
June 30, 1934 – August 24, 2025

John Wagner, beloved husband, son, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, at the age of 91.

Born on June 30, 1934, in Copeland, Idaho, John lived a life defined by hard work, quiet strength, and a generous heart. He was the kind of man who never hesitated to help anyone in need, always putting others before himself.

Throughout his life, John worked with dedication and pride. He spent most of his career working at a local mill and as a skilled glazier. Even in retirement, he continued to serve his community by working part-time as a janitor at the local school-a role he embraced with humility and care.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Wagner; his parents, Chester Wagner and Bernice Foltz; his sisters, June Dieter and Barbara Jacobsen; and his sons, John Wagner Jr. and Richard Wagner.

John is survived by his children: Peggy (Rod) Amparo, Terry (Jonny) Wagner, Connie (Mark) Olsen, Delores Wagner, Ricky (Marly) Spangle, Edward (Mari) Spangle, Kristina (Mike) Hoheisel, and Nicholas (Kelley) Wagner. He was a proud grandfather to 28 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

John's legacy is one of selflessness, perseverance, and deep love for family and community. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
