JOHN L. WALKER
Age 76 of Matteson, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Lightways Hospice House in Joliet.
John is survived by his loving family, wife, Dolores Walker (Dickson), children, John R. (Karina) Walker, Kevin (Kelly) Walker, Brian (Kristen) Walker, Scott (Claire) Walker, sister, Cynthia (Ken) Kovie, grandchildren, Elizabeth Walker, Charlotte Walker, Noah Walker, Henrik Walker, Sullivan Walker, Jude Walker, Finley Walker, Rhys Walker, Beckett Walker, George Walker, nieces, Kelly (Kris) Kopczyk and Stacey (Jeff) Carlson.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John & Eleanor Walker (Wilde) and brother in-law, Richard (Sharon) Dickson.
John was a United States Air Force Veteran and longtime volunteer of the Oak Forest Park District as well as former Cub Scout leader.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, February 15th, 2025 from 3:00 PM until time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Veteran Affairs would be greatly appreciated.
