John was also a dedicated member of AA for 16 years. He had much love and appreciation for the many friends and supporters who were part of his journey, especially from his Thursday night meeting.
In addition to his wife Nadine and their beloved pup Bear, John is survived by his three special grandchildren, Cierra Walton and Tyler Tucci of Granby, Cheyenne Waller and Conner Waller, both of Southington and his only daughter, Erica Waller of Wallingford. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Brian Glass and wife Tracy of Buckeye, AZ, two nephews, Craig Glass and wife Abby and their children, Evan and Ella, of Brewer, ME and Colin Glass and wife Lyla and their son, Teddy of S. Portland, ME and niece, Michele Johnson of Buckeye, AZ, and many cousins. He also leaves behind a great support team between family and friends, especially Kate and her extended family. In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Ethel Glass and his faithful companion, Captain a.k.a. Cujo.
John’s family would like to thank the amazing team at the Hospital of St. Raphael for the utmost care and dignity they provided to him for his last 18 days. Also, Nadine is very grateful for the support from her amazing family, friends and wonderful work family from NBT.
