Mr. John Francis Weagle, 73, of Preston, passed away at his residence on January 20, 2025. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church, 5355 Seminole Rd., Richland, GA 31825 and a Celebration of Life to follow at 5:00 PM at the Kinchafoonee Wildlife Club, 3779 Churchill Rd., Prestion, GA 31824.
Mr. Weagle was born August 17, 1951 in North Attleborough, MA to Albert and Willa Chever Weagle. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. Mr. Weagle owned and operated his trucking business, Travelers Trucking Company for many years before his retirement. He was a longtime member of the Kinchafoonee Wildlife Club and loved living in this area. Mr. Weagle was a genuine friend to all that knew him and will be missed dearly.
Survivors include his wife, Marie Roberts Weagle of Preston; a brother, Paul Weagle of Canton, GA; a nephew, Patrick Libert; and his closest friends, Neal and Glenda Drew and all the members of the Kinchafoonee Wildlife Club.
