John Wehinger Obituary

John A. Wehinger a lifetime resident of the area died on July 11, 2024 at Westchester Medical Center. He was 77.
The son of the late Arthur and Margaret Wehinger, he was born on August 31, 1946 in Port Jervis.
John proudly served our Country with the US Air Force. He would then later go on to IBM where he worked and retired as a security analyst. John coached little league for many years here in Port Jervis and his family recall him as an avid fisherman. He was a life member of the Port Jervis Elks Lodge #645.
In addition to his parents John was predeceased in life by his daughter Denise Wehinger.
Beloved husband of Jean E. Wehinger. Devoted father of Dina Allen with her husband Randy of Port Jervis and Jeffrey Wehinger of Port Jervis. Dear grandfather of Justin & Corey Allen.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday 7/16 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at KNIGHT - AUCHMOODY Funeral Home. Following the visitation burial will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush.
