John Weisse Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 22, 2025.
John Michael Weisse, 62, of Lutz, Florida, passed away on September 11, 2025, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. John was born in Hartford, Connecticut on October 6, 1962, to the late Eleanor Suzanne Reynolds Weisse.

John is survived by his daughter, Nicole Beth Weisse of Tampa; brother, Carl Weisse and Judy De Torony of New Port Richey; sisters, Ellen Addy and husband Randy of Punta Gorda and Suzanne Niemiec and fiancé Craig Raffles of Durham, CT; nieces and nephews, Joseph, Anthony, Emily, Ryan, and Jon; cousin, Genevieve Sullivan and several other family and friends.

John was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He moved from CT to FL in 1991 and was a area manager for Dana Construction up until his illness. John was an avid sports fanatic. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching all sports, especially cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightening Hockey team as well as Men's UConn Basketball. His daughter was the sunshine of his life. He enjoyed cooking and eating but most importantly spending time with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Baldwin Brothers is honored to serve the Weisse family.
