John and Karen bought a home and retired in Clayton, Iowa. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating as well as hosting get-togethers with his friends and family.
John is survived by his son Chris; two grandsons, Tate Youngblut, McKay (Andrea); two great grandchildren, Reese and Boone Youngblut, as well as John's dear friend Arlene Wendt.
