Johnathan Allen Davis Sr., age 69, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 30,2025.
John was a proud member of the United States Army actively for three years and in the reserve for three years. After a
honorable discharge from his service, he owned and managed Clinch River Sporting Goods. He was a avid hunter and fisherman.
Some of his favorite memories were his time spent in the woods, at the lake, or with his family. There was not a gun show within
50-mile radius he wasn't making plans to go to. He spent the best 52 years of his life married to his Honey Bunny Betty.
John is preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Hylia Davis.
He is survived by his loving wife Betty Davis of 52 years, his daughter Kimberly Taylor and husband Kenny Taylor.
Son Johnathon Davis Jr. and wife Kayla Davis.
Grandchildren: Sieanna Taylor and Fiance' Taylor Parker, Christian and wife Lexis Taylor, Chad Davis, Seth Taylor,
Emma Davis, and Colton Davis.
Great-Grandson Gunner Taylor.
Siblings: Brother Roy Davis and wife Denise Davis. Sisters, Debra Barnes, Karen Helton and husband Lee Helton,
Sharon Alcorn and husband Tim Alcorn.
A host of several nieces and nephews. and his loving companion Minnie Davis.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Hatmaker Funeral Home from 2:00-4:00 PM with Rev. Kenny Sharp officiating.
Military Honors provided by The Campbell County Honor Guard to follow .
