Mr. Johnathon "Tanner" Williams, age 23 of Resaca, Georgia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 18th, 2025.
Tanner was born on September 16th, 2002 to Michael Keith Williams and Candy Leeann Ward Williams. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James Darrell Williams, Mary Ann Cole, and Johnny Baker. Tanner was a proud graduate of Sonoraville High School, where he was actively involved in theatre and the men's quartet. He was also a dedicated member of the Thespian Club. He had a passion for cooking, traveling, hiking, and listening to music, but his greatest joy was spending time with his daughter, cherishing every moment with her.
He is survived by his father, Michael Keith Williams (Sandra Clark); mother, Candy Leeann Ward Williams (Larry David England; fiancé and mother of his child, Hannah Burns; their children, Emeline Aurora Williams, Oliver Grime-Hardie, Elliot Grime-Hardie, and Anastasia Grime-Hardie; grandmother, Leah Mae Williams; two brothers, Matthew Keith Williams and Alex Austin Ward (Hallah Gail); one sister, Katelyn Hope Buchanan; aunts and uncles, Adam and Jennifer Ward, Douglas and Christina Baker, Robbie Ward, Jill and Anthony Young, Pam and Perry Johns; Nieces and nephews, Oakleigh Ward, Keizer Cordell, Max Cordell, and Milo Ward; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025 at 5 PM in the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Rusty Haradon and Rev. Anthony Lombard officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 23rd from 3 PM until 5 PM at the funeral home.
