Johnnie Mae, aged 69, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2024, surrounded with her loving family.
Visitation will take place, Friday, January 17, 2025 at Fisher Funeral Home, 24501 Five Mile Road, Redford Twp., Michigan from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Funeral Service will take place, Saturday January 18, 2025 with family hour at 9:30 a.m. with service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Detroit, Michigan.

Johnie was our 91yr.old dad's caregiver. She was so dependable, dedicated and very generous . She would bring in sweets, pastries, vegetables from a garden and even knitted some mittens. Her generosity did not stop there. She especially would be generous with her advice too. :) If she saw something that needed attention or correcting she let you know. She would always say to our dad, "Ya know Mr.Bridges, We seniors gotta stick together because these young people don't know what they're doing." She definitely cared for our dad as if he were her own dad and we are truly grateful.
Johnie became a part of our family and we learned about her family through conversation and pictures. She always spoke about her siblings, her family reunions, and most of all her dog Wally :) She will truly be missed. We are sure everyone has some "Johnie" stories. Every time you share a story her legacy lives on. When the sadness of her loss begins to fade, may your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Johnie you have worked so hard...now its time to REST.
